Contingency Plans Due to DOT on May 14

Operators of all large, medium, small, and non-hub airports must submit an Airport Emergency Contingency Plan electronically to DOT by Monday, May 14. ACI-NA has a template that will guide you through the process.

Mar-Comm Early Bird Deadline is May 15

The Early Bird discount deadline for the Marketing and Communications Conference/JumpStart Air Service Development Program is Tuesday, May 15. This is also the cut-off for the discounted group rate at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. The conference is June 4-7. There are now 29 airlines with 44 tables slated for the JumpStart meetings on June 6-7. Check out the JumpStart pages for the latest news.

Americans See Value in Their Airports

Americans love their local airports, but they’re still not sure how they work, according to a new national survey commissioned by ACI-NA. However, only one in four Americans were aware that the federal government has the power to limit final say when it comes to how airport improvement funds are spent at the local level.
