Christopher Rochette
Director, Conferences
Christopher Rochette joined
ACI-NA in May 2000. As Director, he oversees
ACI-NA’s meetings and conferences department where he is responsible for the
overall management and success of the association’s more than 20 meetings,
conferences and special events a year.
A native of Lowell,
Mass, Rochette came to Washington
D.C. in 1996 to work as program manager
for the nation’s premier civic education program, Presidential Classroom. During his four years with the program,
Rochette oversaw the organization’s internship and alumni program and as well
as the logistical planning and execution of 15 continuous conferences . He is a
member of the Professional Convention Managers Association (PCMA), and is a graduate
of the University of Massachusetts-Lowell where he received a Bachelor’s degree
in Political Science. In February 2008, Rochette left ACI-NA to move on to bigger things. However, whilst at ACI-NA, he always emphasized the importance of "Making it work".
