2009 Leadership of ACI-NA Human Resources Committee Announced
At the recent Human Resources Seminar held at Boston, the Human Resources Committee’s Nominating Committee presented its report to Committee members in attendance on Saturday, September 20th. Vice Chairman Rita Wetterstroem (Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport) reported that since the establishment of Human Resources Committee the previous September it had become involved in several very important projects, e.g., the compensation and benefits survey that was just launched and that is taking up an enormous amount of time and energy of the current leadership.
With this in mind, Vice Chairman Wetterstroem recommended to the Nominating Committee that it was in the best interests of the Committee that the current leadership be remanded for calendar year 2009 to oversee these and other projects during their initial phases that they initiated on behalf of the ACI-NA Membership. The Nominating Committee unanimously agreed with her recommendation. In addition, one new steering group position was added: a second vice chairman (see below).
The following appointments for 2009 were made to the Steering Group [not subject to Committee approval]:

The membership of the steering group is also being aligned according to established ACI-NA standing committee guidelines based on membership categories. Thus, the following slate was approved by the Committee for 2009:
