Environmental Affairs Committee

Environmental Affairs CommitteeThe Environmental Affairs Committee is responsible for the development and implementation of ACI-NA environmental policy positions on issues such as noise, air quality, water quality, waste management, wildlife, and environmental review processes. The committee also helps guide federal aviation environmental research programs such as the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) and FAA’s PARTNER project. The committee provides information and guidance for airport operators in the development of environmental management programs. It is represented on the National Academy of Sciences Transportation Research Board, the International Civil Aviation Organization, the Joint Planning and Development Organization, and other industry and government-sponsored organizations with a focus on environment.
