4th Annual FAA National Civil Rights Training Conference for Airports

The Fedral Aviation Administration's Office of Civil Rights has announced its 4th Annual FAA National Civil Rights Training Conference for Airports at the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel in Arlington, VA, from September 16-18, 2013.  The full agenda for the conference is not yet available, but please mark your calendars for this training opportunity.

Last month, you were advised of the FAA's issuance of Principles for Evaluating Long-Term, Exclusive Agreements in the ACDBE Program Guidance , dated June 10, 2013.  Several of you have raised questions concerning that Guidance.  An overview of the Guidance has been prepared by Marcus H. England, Manager, National Airports Civil Rights Policy and Compliance, of the FAA's Office of Civil Rights.   If you have additional questions concerning the Guidance, please send them to Monica Hargrove, and we will make arrangments to either schedule a webinar between FAA staff and interested airport and associate member representatives, or schedule a session at which FAA staff can address your questions during a joint session between members of ACI-NA's Business Diversity and Legal Affairs Committees in San Jose on Sunday, September 22, 2013.
