ACI-NA Participates in Global Entry Enrollment Center Opening

This morning, ACI-NA participated in the opening of the new Global Entry Enrollment Center at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) headquarters in the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC. CBP Deputy Commissioner Tom Winkowski, welcomed the attendees and discussed the efficiencies Global Entry provides travelers entering the US. Prior to introducing DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, Winkowski advised attendees that CBP currently receives 50,000 Global Entry applications each month.

In addition to the announcing the opening of the Global Entry Enrollment Center at CBP headquarters, Secretary Napolitano announced the opening of new enrollment centers at Albuquerque International Sunport and Tampa International Airport. With these three new locations, there are currently a total of 40 Global Entry Enrollment Centers, located at airports across the country.

In addition to Secretary Napolitano; Deputy Commissioner Winkowski; Douglas Smith, DHS Assistant Secretary for the Private Sector; Kevin McAleenan, Acting Deputy Commissioner; John Wagner, Acting Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Office of Field Operations and other DHS, CBP and TSA representatives attended the event.
