Overview
Planning in an Era of Uncertainty
An uncertain economy, changing federal budget priorities, volatile fuel costs, new technologies, an aging population, and an ever-changing regulatory environment: all are contributing to making airport facility and environmental planning efforts more challenging than ever. What skills will you need to plan your airport facilities in the next decade? What can you do to make your NEPA efforts move rapidly and effectively from Notice of Preparation to Record of Decision? How can you ensure that your plans are flexible enough to respond to unexpected changes in the economy, regulatory requirements, and facility needs?
The 2011 ACI-NA/ACC/FAA Airport Planning Redefined Course and NEPA Workshop will help you answer these questions! Combined as a single event for the first time, Planning Course and NEPA Workshop will be held December 5-7 in Atlanta, Georgia and is designed for airport planners and environmental specialists of all skill and experience levels.
Jointly sponsored by Airports Council International - North America (ACI-NA), Airport Consultants Council (ACC) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the event will include lessons learned, best practices, and interactive roundtable sessions that will make you a better planner or environmental specialist.
